A friend of mine and also a avid deer hunter harvested 2 deer this past Saturday. After helping him out I placed my trail camera ( motion and heat activates it to take photos while unattended) on a tree aimed at the entrails. I was astonished to see I had over 560 images in 3 days, the vast majority of the images are hawks, 3 types. Northern Harrier, Red Shouldered Hawk, and Red Tailed Hawk. Other visitors included red fox, coyote, grey squirrel, and crows. Below are 7 images that I pulled from the 560, and below that is a video I made of 150 images in order, the rest are still captures. Warning this is slightly gory.

Mark Twain Artshow
Friday night was the opening of the show in Redding Connecticut. I was amazed at how many people were there. I was told that there was at least 500 people on the first night! What a great experience. I met lots of new people and got some great feedback on my work. It was great to walk around and see other amazing art. The show will be up through Saturday, Dec. 15
Mark Twain Library Art Show and Sale, during regular library hours. Here is a shot I took during our 'first' snow.
