Saw this guy sitting on a wire on my way to my house while driving. I got home, grabbed my bike and my camera and rode back to see if he was still there. He was, got some great shots, loving the new camera and lens combo. I THINK its a immature red-tail hawk.

Beautiful stuff. I could look at a Hawk behavior for hours. Living near a highway, I see so many around here, but they tend to be a bit more skittish than your orchard hawk friend. They don't stick around long enough and tend to stay high... tops of trees. Love the picts. Hey, what's the new camera like? I'm still hoping to get a new camera sometime.
